Having lost 1-0 to Bray Wanderers last week, Drogheda will go into this game looking to bounce back in the right way and get back up the table.

The Boynesiders are currently in fifth place in the league and nine points behind leaders St Pat's, who they face in this mammoth battle, and need to get back to winning ways.

Declan O'Brien is carrying a knock and Brian Shelley will have to undergo a late fitness test, but otherwise Paul Doolin has the same squad to choose from.

"We've been playing really well in recent games, since Cork really, and we need to keep up that level of performance against St. Pat's," said Doolin.

St Pat's had their first draw of this year's campaign last week and will be aiming to get that winning feeling back when they travel to United Park.

Noel Haverty could keep his place at right-back following an impressive performance in the scoreless draw with UCD, while Bobby Ryan is pushing for a starting place.

There are still concerns over defender Joe O'Cearuill, who had to drop out of the Republic of Ireland U-23 squad this week due to a niggling injury.
