O'BYRNE TAKES INJUNCTION AGAINST PAT'S

Bernard O'Byrne, the former CEO of the FAI has taken an injunction against St Patrick's Athletic preventing them from sacking him.
O'Byrne joined the Inchicore club as in April on a two-year contract. That contract could only be terminated for gross misconduct or by mutual consent.
According to counsel for O'Byrne, St Pat's poor form in the league did not reflect in any adverse way on his stewardship of the club.
On November 15 last, two directors of the club told O'Byrne they had made a mistake in recruiting him.
