Paddy Power Crossbar Challenge

Up to six lucky spectators will be selected at halftime on Friday night to test their shooting skills and to be in with a chance of winning €1,000!

The Paddy Power Crossbar Challenge will start with the participants taking one kick each from inside the centre circle and if they hit the crossbar they will walk away with one thousand euros!

If no one hits the cross bar the prize money for the challenge will be increased to €2,000 for the next home game with the next round of kicks taking place five yards closer to the goal.

The prize money will “roll-over” until the prize is finally won.

The Paddy Power ‘Crossbar Challenge' kicks-off this Friday when St Pats play host to Derry City and will continue for our remaining 8 home matches in the eircom League of Ireland.

Brian Kerr, along with Alan Kirby, Brendan Clarke, our very own Paddy the Panther, as well as Paddy Power himself turned up at Richmond Park during the week to officially launch the challenge.

Brian Kerr, Director of Football said, "on behalf of the club I would like to thank Paddy Power for their continued, generous and very innovative support. This will be great fun for the fans, I'd say well have no shortage of takers come Friday night."

As club sponsor, said Paddy Power, "we want to reward our fans as much as possible and this is a great opportunity to get them involved. We're all looking forward to Friday's game against Derry and the Crossbar Challenge will hopefully add some extra sparkle to this and future fixtures."

Further details of The Paddy Power Crossbar Challenge will be included on the website and also in the match day programme.
