WISLA SQUAD ANNOUNCED FOR DUBLIN VISIT
Wisla Krakow's squad for next week's friendly match against St Patrick's Athletic at Richmond Park contains no fewer than 4 full Polish and 2 full Australian international players including Pawel Brozek and Arkadiusz Glowacki as well as a number of U21 internationals.
The runaway leaders of the Polish championship will travel to Dublin as Polish league leaders as coach Maciej Skorza looks to build on his side's impressive start to the Polish domestic season. Wisla lead the Ekstraklasa by a commanding seven points after just 13 league games.
After finishing the eircom League of Ireland season in the runners-up spot, St Patrick's Athletic manager Johnny McDonnell will be anxious to test his side's abilities against an in-form Wisla side. The match takes place at Richmond Park on Tuesday next November 13th with a 7.45pm kick-off.
Champions of Poland on five occasions since 1999, Wisla Krakow is established as a top class outfit within European football. The club has picked up some silverware already this season when they travelled to the United States in July and won the inaugural Chicago Trophy beating reigning UEFA Cup champions Sevilla FC in the final at Soldier Field.
