SAINTS HEAD TO BELFAST
OUR UNDER 13's having won the invitational “Copa Internacional” in Barcelona recently will be the club's ambassadors once again when they visit the city of Belfast.
The team has been invited by Orangefield Old Boys Club from East Belfast as part of their Community Cup celebrations on June 21st. Orangefield hail from the district of Cregagh, the district that brought world football one of it's most famous sons, George Best.
The team will play a triangular tournament with fellow Dublin club Crumlin United and Belfast club Glentoran in what promises to be a great day for everyone.
The three-way tie is the central part of Orangefield's Community Cup and while the games between the three clubs will take centre stage, Orangefield, Ballinamard, Templepatrick, Oliver Plunkett and Lisburn Distillery will also take part in different competitions in the other age groups.
The Youth Section and the senior club were delighted to accept the invite as part of the club's on-going cross border community relations.
