SAINTS’ FANS BID FAREWELL TO KEITH FAHEY
On Friday night at McDowell's St Pats' fans presented Keith Fahey with their player of the year award and wished him every success with his move to Birmingham City.
Fahey joins the Midlands club following a fabulous season with the Saints in which he was also named as the PFAI Player of the Year.
On hand to present the player of the year award on Friday night were a select number of Pats fans - Derek Delaney snr and jnr, Ian Whelan, Joey Robinson and Kevin McCabe who haven't missed a Pats' game home or away all season long!
Manager John McDonnell afterwards presented Keith with a framed photo which was taken just after he scored his winning goal against Bohemians from earlier in the season.
“This photo says a lot about Keith” said McDonnell, “always a smile on his face and always enjoying his football be it in training or in a match – a true professional”.
John McDonnell joined the club staff and supporters in thanking Keith for his performances for the Saints and in wishing him all the best ahead of his move to England.
