Bray W. 1 St Pats 0

A controversial decison by refereee Paul McKeown to send off Saints' Darragh Maguire for what seemed an innocuous challenge proved crucial tonight in the Carlisle Grounds.

Bray's Kieran 'Trazan' O'Brien scored the only goal of the game after a scramble following the resulting free kick.

The result sees John McDonnell's men slip into the bottom three of the Premier Division and without a victory since July's one nil victory over Waterford.

The Saints could have equalised in the dying seconds when Alan Reilly was played through by new signing Glen Larsen. However, the midfielder failed to find his way passed O'Connor in the Bray goal and his shot went wide.
