ST PETER’S COMPLETE PAT’S CHALLENGE

A group of 5th class students from St Peter's Boys School in Limekiln Road in Walkinstown are the latest group to recently complete the St Pat's Soccer Challenge.

The six week course sees a classroom visit from St Pat's club promotions officer as well as a first team player where the students are introduced to the league of Ireland St Patrick's Athletic FC and the life of a professional footballer.

The need to work and study hard as well as the benefits of leading a healthy and active lifestyle are highlighted to the students.

Following the visit St Pat's provides weekly coaching sessions designed to improve their soccer skills.

On completion of the course the pupils from St Peter's received a St Pat's soccer challenge certificate of achievement, a mini season ticket book to come and see St Pat's in the new season and free membership of the supporters club. This course was generously sponsored by the St Pat's Supporters Club.
