Preview: Saints Vs Dundalk

St Patrick's Athletic take on Airtricity league leaders Dundalk this Friday in what is set to be one of the games of the season so far at Richmond Park.

The Saints will be anxious to recover from a recent dip in form which saw them lose their last two games to Shamrock Rovers and UCD.

Ian Foster's Lilywhites will travel to Inchicore with confidence following a dramatic 2-1 victory over Shamrock Rovers on Monday night

Team News

The club has no suspensions and the only injury worry is midfielder Brian Cash who has a thigh strain and is likely to miss out.

Manager's Quote

“We want to get back to winning ways but Dundalk are absolutely flying it at the moment so it will be a severe test for us.

UCD (on Monday night) was our first away defeat and while it was disappointing I felt we created plenty of chances but simply did not take them.

That's something we've been working on in training. Defeats are hard to take but we'll keep working hard and I'm sure it will come right again, they're the same players so nothing has changed” – Pete Mahon.
