TEAM NEWS: Dundalk V St Patrick’s Athletic FC

St Patrick's Athletic travel to Oriel Park on Sunday night to take on Dundalk FC and based on previous matches between the two sides this season St Pat's can expect another tight encounter.

TEAM NEWS

Gareth O'Connor who signed during the week for St Pat's has carried over a one match suspension and will miss the game.

Gareth Coughlan remains injured but everybody else is fit available to play.

MANAGEMENT QUOTE

“UCD was a hard fought win and we had to show real character to get the three points. We've trained four times since the UCD game but the lads are also well rested.

Some might say that with the European trip it's a good time to take on Dundalk but they've had two heavy defeats in a row and you can be sure they will want to make up for that.

All three games this season with Dundalk have been very close.

The Dundalk players may feel a bit aggrieved with the way the cup game went but what happened in that game with the sending offs was beyond our control.

We will just have to focus on our own game and we know we're in for a difficult test on Sunday” - Assistant manager, John Gill.
