TEAM NEWS: St Patrick’s Athletic FC V’s Sporting Fingal

St Patrick's Athletic have the chance to return to the top of the Premier Division of the Airtricity League when they take on Sporting Fingal on Sunday afternoon.

The Saints can expect a tough challenge as Sporting Fingal will be hoping to bounce back from their Europa League defeat to Maritimo on Thursday night.

TEAM NEWS

Gareth O'Connor is available having served a one match suspension. Vinny Faherty is suspended and Ian Bermingham is a doubt having taken a knock on his foot against Rovers some weeks back.

MANAGEMENT QUOTE

“Sporting Fingal have done great over the last two and a half years.

They showed in the away leg against Maritimo just how good they are, they've a good squad with some high profile players and they will be a test for us.

They've had some good results this season but also a few disappointing ones. Sometimes after a European night there might be on a bit of a comedown for a team but we will focus on our own game and just prepare properly” – Pete Mahon.
