Best Of Luck Jake
We would like to wish Jake Carroll all the best as he heads over to Huddersfield on Tuesday to join up with new club.
London-born he grew up in Lucan and played the majority of his youth football for Home Farm but had a short spell at Belvedere before joining St Pats' Under-20 side in 2010.
During this time he was capped by Republic of Ireland's schools side whilst at university.
Since breaking into the First Team he has made over 50 appearances for the Club, which includes Europa League appearances in Ukraine, Iceland and Germany.
Jake was the first player to be a part of a pioneering scholarship programme between St Patrick's Athletic and the National University of Ireland in Maynooth and the move coincides with the completion of his degree in Business.
Jake has previously spent two separate spells on trial with the Terriers and will now join up with the Club permanently for the 2013/14 campaign.
