Saints Aim To Repel 'Attack Of The Gulls' As Summer Comes To Richmond Park
The Saints will be aiming to repel the 'Attack of the Seagulls as summer comes to Richmond Park on Friday night when St Patrick's Athletic host Bray Wanderers, i.e. the Seagulls, in the SSE Airtricity League in Richmond Park (kick-off 7.45pm).
* Free entry into the game for anyone wearing a mankini or a bikini*
* Ice cream van will be in the ground to sell 99s
* Competition on Twitter and Facebook to win a Pats jersey
Seagulls are certainly getting a bad rap this summer. After attacks on swimmers, motorcyclists and sheep some people are asking for a cull on the birds.
Bray Wanderers swoop into Richmond Park on Friday night having raided Limerick and Galway for points over recent weeks, and St Patrick's Athletic are planning to put a stop to their recent run of form.
As the sea-siders are visiting Inchicore in the middle of August, St. Patrick's Athletic would like to celebrate the glorious Irish summer by offering free entry to the match for anyone wearing a mankini or bikini**.
Customers who wish to avail of this special offer are advised that the weather forecast for Friday, August 14th is still unconfirmed!
The Supersaints are hoping to set a club record for nine consecutive league victories, so to mark this occasion a competition is running on Facebook and Twitter to win a St Pat's jersey.

Also as a one-off special, an ice cream van will be stationed inside Richmond Park on Friday evening serving 99s and other treats. What better way to spend a pleasant summer evening outdoors than watching top tier football by the banks of the River Camac in Dublin 8?
"The weather has been pretty awful recently, as everyone is well aware of. It's been the coldest July in 25 years, but we want to raise the temperature at Richmond Park on Friday night by hopefully continuing our recent run of good results," manager Liam Buckley outlined.
Head down to Richmond Park on Friday night and get behind the Saints! Tickets are available on the turnstiles or can be purchased from St Patrick's Athletic club offices on 125 Emmet Road, Inchicore.
**Note the mankini or bikini must be worn on its own, not over any clothing. Footwear is recommended, though.
