26/27 Third Jersey With The Wolfe Tones Released
St Patrick's Athletic FC and The Wolfe Tones have unveiled their 26/27 Third Jersey in landmark collaboration.
A celebration of Inchicore, community, music and football.
St Patrick's Athletic FC is proud to unveil its 2026 Third Jersey, created in a special collaboration with legendary Irish band The Wolfe Tones, a unique and deeply authentic partnership rooted in the shared spirit of Inchicore, Dublin and the wider Irish community.
This jersey is a celebration of place, identity and belonging. It brings together two powerful community traditions, football and music; both of which are generational, both of which are rooted in locality, and both of which have the power to unite people.
This collaboration is rooted in a shared local story. The Wolfe Tones got their start in McDowell's, a St Patrick's Athletic FC and Inchicore institution, and the band's members are from the locality and are longstanding season ticket holders. With deep personal ties to the area, this partnership reflects a genuine connection between club, community and culture.
At the heart of the design is a striking tribute to one of The Wolfe Tones' most beloved songs, "Let The People Sing" (written by Brian Warfield), with the song's lyrics flowing in a spiral pattern from the centre of the jersey. The song's spirit resonates deeply with football culture and with Inchicore itself. On matchdays, as in music, people gather, families return, and generations stand side by side.
It is a shared act of identity, of memory, and of joy; to "Let The People Sing."
The kit also features "Pádraig go Brágh", a tricolour border, the Wolfe Tones logo, and The Wolfe Tones as front-of-shirt sponsor; making this one of the most distinctive and meaningful jerseys in the club's recent history.
It is also a celebration of achievement: honouring the legacy of a band whose music has travelled across generations, while bringing that energy into a new expression through the club's 2026 Third Jersey.
The Jersey can be bought online via Elverys HERE and in store at Elverys Fonthill Retail Park, Elverys Suffolk Street, and Elverys Dundrum. Kids jerseys are available from €52 and Adult jerseys are available from €75.
During a photoshoot in Slatt's of Inchicore, Brian Warfield of Wolfe Tones said:
"We're here celebrating the launch of a new jersey for our local side The Saints and we're very proud to do so. I think it's important to support local and that's why we've done this collaboration between The Wolfe Tones and the club.
I've been following St Patrick's since I was about 5 or 6, I went to the matches with my dad, we were mad Pat's fans in Inchicore. Our recreation every second week was to go to the home games and some away too if they weren't too far. Music was always part of our lives and part of football.
My family, including generations of my grandads and great grandads and my dad, all worked in the Inchicore Works so we have a long history of being part of Inchicore. It's a wonderful area and we've always loved St Pat's, our connection with The Saints will last forever. Let the people sing."
