Irish League double winners Linfield have been drawn in the same Setanta Cup group as Glentoran and Derry City for the third year in a row.
St Pat's Athletic are the other team in Group Two of the 2008 competition.
Group One is made up of Eircom League champions Drogheda United, Cork City, Cliftonville and Dungannon Swifts.
The competition starts on 26 February with holders Drogheda at home to Setanta newcomers Cliftonville and Dungannon playing Cork.
The final is to be played on Saturday, 18 October.
Cliftonville, third in the Irish League last season, are playing in the All-Ireland competition for the first time and manager Eddie Patterson was satisfied with the draw.
"Financially it might not be the best, but there is an opportunity for us in terms of qualifying," he said.
"Our first match is against the holders Drogheda and I feel that will give us a chance to see how far we have come in the last couple of years."
