St Patrick's Athletic manager John McDonnell has admitted to setantasports.com that he is not that familiar with their Uefa Cup Qualifying opponents, JFK Olimps.
The Dublin club will have to go on a scouting mission to discover just how dangerous the Lativan side are and what style of football they play.
With the first leg of their First Round Qualifying match due to take place on July 17, The Super Saints will have to be hasty in their fact-finding pursuit of the Riga-based club.
"It could have been worse as we could have had a harder draw," McDonnell told setantasports.com after the draw had been made.
"We are just gathering some information on them at the moment. I think they are ninth or tenth in their league, so I couldn't find an honest reaction to them until I find out all of the details.
"As far as I know they have only won one, drew four, and lost eight games of their season so far.
"I don't know too much about their players, but I do know that their league has been on since April, so we will get a chance of seeing them in a competitive game.
"Both teams are in the middle of their seasons, so the fitness levels should be right up there. We won't be playing against a team, who are just starting their season."
