St Patrick's Athletic are on the search for a new manager after Jeff Kenna tendered his resignation today.
The board of the Richmond Park club have accepted his resignation, and in a statement said that they 'wish to acknowledge his contribution and thank him for his efforts'.
Kenna's decision to quit comes on the back of Tuesday evening's FAI Ford Cup quarter-final defeat at the hands of First Division side Waterford United.
The former Republic of Ireland international joined the Saints from Galway United in controversial circumstances in January of this year, but a disappointing league campaign coupled with Tuesday's results appear to have forced him out.
Maurice O'Driscoll will take charge of St Pat's evening fixture against Galway United.
