Saints Support Dunmore East Fishing Disaster Appeal

A bucket collection in support of the Dunmore East Fishing Disaster Appeal will be held at the game against Waterford United on Friday.

The board of St. Patrick's Athletic will donate €1 for every adult that attends the game tomorrow night, towards the appeal.

Speaking to stpatsfc.com today, Commercial Manager Philip Nolan said, " We were all touched by the disaster in Dunmore East and we send our sympathy to the families of the victims and the Dunmore East fishing community. Hopefully the fans of St. Patrick's Athletic will contribute generously like they have done over the years for many different appeals."

The bucket collection will also take place in Mc Dowell's before and after the game, which kicks off at 7.45pm.
