St Patrick's Athletic will begin their 2026 League of Ireland Premier Division campaign against Bohemians at Aviva Stadium this Sunday, with over 20,000 supporters expected to attend.

    MATCH STATS

    Sunday will be the 10th time that St Patrick's Athletic have played at Lansdowne Road / Aviva Stadium. Our first match there was in 1996 with the most recent being the 2023 FAI Cup Final with the opponents being Shelbourne, Liverpool, Lazio, Longford Town, Derry City and Bohemians.

    St Patrick's Athletic and Bohemians met at Aviva Stadium in the 2021 and 2023 FAI Cup finals, with The Saints winning both.

    St Pat's won the 2021 showpiece (4-3 on penalties) after a 1-1 draw (set). Chris Forrester got the Pat's goal, while Jay McClelland was among the scorers in the shootout, Robbie Benson netted the winner. Goals Mark Doyle, an OG, and Tommy Lonergan secured the 2023 trophy (3-1)

    These sides faced off four times in the League last season, with each team winning once and the other two ending all square.

    2026 will be St Patrick's Athletic's 76th season in the LOI.

    New boys Ronan Boyce, Darragh Nugent, Glory Nzingo, Max Mata and Ryan Edmondson could all make their league debuts on Sunday.

    If defender Tom Grivosti features, it will be his 100th appearance for the club while Aidan Keena made his 50th competitive appearance for St Pat's in the Leinster Senior Cup win against Longford last month.
