    MATCH STATS

The Saints and The Tribesman went head to head five times last season. St Pat's won two, both at home, Galway won two, both at home, and the most recent League meeting, which was at Richmond Park, ended all square (1-1).

The most memorable of those was a 3-1 win for Pat's in the Sports Direct FAI Cup 1/4 final in September.

Before the 2024 season, you have to go back to 2017 for the last League matches between these sides.

This will be the 88th LOI meeting of these clubs

Galway also picked up three points on Friday evening thanks to a 1-0 victory at home to Sligo Rovers.

In terms of player stats, Zack Elbouzedi made his 50th appearance for The Saints in the defeat at Tallaght Stadium last weekend while Barry Baggley is in line to play for St Pat's for the 50th time if he features against The Tribesmen on Monday night while Romal Palmer's start on Friday was his first in 364 days.

    PRE-MATCH INTERVIEW

    Manager Stephen Kenny said:

"It's very rare to win 4-0 in any game in this League because all of the games are very competitive and we've seen Dundalk go to The Brandywell and get a well deserved result and against Shamrock Rovers so to win 4-0 was convincing.

We want to make Richmond Park an exciting place for our players to play, and somewhere where the supporters can really connect, we had that for a while and have been very consistent here, we've not lost many at home in the 18 months that I've been here, so we want to maximise all of our points at home and we have to try to do that.

You could see against Dundalk, the great relationship between the players and the supporters when it's going well and hopefully we can put in another strong performance against a very strong Galway United team, it's a big game for us. We have to recover quickly from Friday and be ready."

You can watch our full interview with Sean Hoare looking back on Friday and ahead to Monday on our Youtube channel.
