Derry City hope to continue their recent unbeaten league form when they entertain St Patrick's Athletic at the Brandywell on Friday night (1945 BST).

"We want to keep making progress and while we have a few injuries, we want to get as high up the table as we can," said Derry manager John Robertson.

"St Pat's offer a yardstick as to the standard we have to meet if we are to make a serious challenge next season.

"The players also know they have contracts to play for."

"St Pat's are still in the hunt for the title so it is a big game for them and they want three points to keep their championship hopes alive."

Gary Beckett, Alan Moore and Mark McChrystal are still on the treatment table and Sammy Morrow is also likely to be missing after hobbling off against Sligo Rovers last week.

"Sammy has made a good improvement this week but this game will probably come a little too early for him," said Robertson.
