Linfield manager David Jeffrey says he has less room for rotation in Tuesday night's Setanta Sports Cup tie against St Patrick's Athletic at Richmond Park.
Jim Ervin is out injured, Kris Lindsay is suspended and Tim Mouncey and Tim McCann are long-term injury absentees.
"Out of a squad of 22, we are down to 18 players so I am not sure exactly what we are going to do. The 18 obviously picks itself," said Jeffrey.
The Blues have won both their opening Pool matches in the competition.
St Pat's, on the other hand, have just one point from their opening two fixtures, having drawn with Glentoran and lost to Derry City, but top the Eircom Premier League.
