St Patrick's Athletic host Bray Wanderers in the Premier division of the eircom League on Wednesday evening. The Saints are seventh after four draws in six games with Bray second from bottom, still seeking a first win.
The Saints have suffered just one defeat in their six games while Bray have drawn three of their five. Despite not winning, Bray have achieved impressive draws against Shelbourne and Cork City, and were unlucky not to beat the defending champions on Friday night.
Both sides have been hit with injuries recently. The Saints are without long term injury victims Colm Foley and Chris Armstrong. Reserve keeper Brendan Clarke will miss about a month of action while Mark Rutherford was forced off injured in the draw with Bohs on Friday. He misses out along with Stephen Caffrey.
Bray are expected to again be without Jody Lynch, Graham O'Hanlon and Stephen Gifford. Having been forced off early through injury in the draw with Cork, Wesley Charles must also be considered at least doubtful.
The two sides met in the first round of the League Cup on 4th April with the Saints emerging victorious at the Carlisle Grounds.
