Fresh from his double transfer swoop on Tuesday, St Patrick’s Athletic manager John McDonnell could make two more signings in the coming days.

McDonnell completed the acquisitions of Keith Fahey from Drogheda United and former Leeds United trainee Brenton Leister yesterday.

And the Saints chief is not finished yet, with former Republic of Ireland youth international pair Joe Kendrick and Kevin Grogan being lined up for switches to Richmond Park.

Kendrick, formerly of Newcastle United and 1860 Munich, is keen on a return home after spending the past two seasons at Darlington, where he started 21 League Two games last term.

Former Manchester United, Bray Wanderers and UCD striker Grogan, meanwhile, has been given the all-clear to resume his career after a series of debilitating injuries, and could make Inchicore his next stop.
