NEW SIGNING AT ST PATRICK'S ATHLETIC

St Patrick's Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of Bobby Ryan from Dunfermline Athletic. Along with Damian Lynch and Des Byrne, Ryan becomes the latest addition to the squad ahead of the 2008 eircom League of Ireland season.

Bobby Ryan is a highly experienced attacking player who won League of Ireland championship medals with other clubs before signing with Dunfermline. His ability across the midfield or in attack makes him an excellent addition to our squad.

Des Byrne is returning to the club for his third time after spells in England and more recently with Bohemians. Although mainly considered a left back his versatility is an attractive bonus for the club.

These players join Damien Lynch who signed for St Patrick's Athletic in November and the club is hopeful of further strengthening the squad in the coming weeks prior to the new season.
