ADDITIONAL SAFETY MEASURES AT RICHMOND PARK

The Board of St Patrick's Athletic last night decided to introduce a strict "admission by ticket only" policy at all games in Richmond Park.

"Every person present in Richmond Park must have a ticket in their possession inside the ground" explained Chairman Andrew O'Callaghan." This includes guests and people who have concessionary rights.

Everybody must either purchase a ticket or collect complimentary tickets from the club prior to the game and then enter the ground though the turnstiles or else they will not be admitted to the ground under Health & Safety regulations."

The Chairman continued "We are concerned that a number of people are gaining free admission without our knowledge and therefore we cannot account for their presence in the stadium should there be an incident of any kind. This rule will apply to everybody, including myself, and is effective immediately."

Any person requiring clarification may contact the club on 454 6332.
