SOCCER SCHOOL GET DUNNE VISIT

The participants of the inaugural Saints Summer Soccer School not only got to meet their footballing heroes but today received a surprise visitor.

The group were rewarded for their hard work with a special visit from WBA Super Bantamweight World Champion Bernard Dunne.

The children from the community of West Dublin have been working hard on their skills all week under the guidance of Saints' defender Damian Lynch.

Along with Damian, many of St Pats' first team have been on hand this week to pass on some tips to the youngsters.

Speaking to stpatsfc.com Damian was delighted to welcome a world champ to Richmond Park:

"The soccer school has been going well all week and I'm sure we've some future stars in the group.

The most important thing is that everybody enjoys themselves though and we're lucky to have a great group who've been keen to learn.

"It was great to see Bernard in Inchicore today and it was a bonus for all the hard work that the children have put in over the week"
