EUROPA LEAGUE DISAPPOINTMENT FOR DEMPSEY
Pat's midfielder Gary Dempsey did not travel with the squad for their return leg with Krylya Sovetov after he picked up an ankle injury in Sunday night's League of Ireland victory over Dundalk.
Missing out on the return leg against the Russians is a big disappointment for Dempsey who had only just returned to action after a leg break injury incurred against the same opposition back in March. His place in the travelling squad was taken by Noel Haverty.
The squad over-nighted in London last night and depart for Moscow this morning (Tuesday).
The match against Krylya takes place on Thursday at 4.00pm CET 7.00pm local time.
