BRUCE GIVES ST PAT’S THE BIG THUMBS UP!

Former Liverpool goalkeeper Bruce Grobbelaar dropped into Richmond Park recently and wished St Patrick's Athletic every success in their Europa League campaign!

The veteran goalkeeper knows all about European success having played a key role in securing the European Cup for Liverpool in the 1983-84 season.

Over a 13-year period Grobbelaar played over 600 first team games for Liverpool and won every honour in the English game.

St Patrick's Athletic take face the toughest of challenges when they take on Romanian side FC Steaua Bucharest in the return leg of their Europa League play-off game this Thursday have lost the first leg 3-0 in Bucharest.

The match kicks off at 7.45pm on Thursday at the RDS Arena and Europa League tickets are on sale from the club shop on Emmet Road and from Ticketmaster priced at €20 adult and €10 concession tickets.
