Saints Progress To Quarter Finals
St Patrick's Athletic progressed to the last eight of the FAI Ford Cup but it took extra time to overcome the challenge of Monaghan United at Richmond Park, writes Mark Cummins.
Bobby Ryan shot home the all-important winner from eight yards at the left post on 105 minutes to put the Saints through.
Both sides had plenty of chances in normal time and Monaghan boss Mick Cooke will be proud of his team's performance.
