ST PAT’S DEFEAT WEXFORD YOUTHS IN FRIENDLY
Pete Mahon brought his new-look Saints squad on a training camp to the South East at the weekend where they finished with a solid 3-0 win on Sunday against Wexford Youths at Ferrycarraig.
The friendly match was a valuable opportunity for the new Pat’s signings to record some match action together as well as an opportunity for the management to look to look at one or two new players.
The team lined out as follows:
Rogers, Pender, Bermingham, Guthrie, Lynch, Guy, Mulcahy, Byrne, Coughlan, Williams, Faherty. Subs: Sinnott, McAllister, Collins & Byrne.
Halftime- 0-1
Fulltime 0-3.

Commenting on the game Pat’s assistant manager John Gill said “I was impressed with the performance, you could see some of what we’re doing in training coming into play, obviously there’s a lot more to do but I saw enough to know that there is a really solid framework for us to build on”.
St Pat’s take on Drogheda United on Wednesday at Richmond Park in the Leinster Senior Cup, kick off 7.45pm. T
