GARY ROGERS VOTED PLAYER OF MONTH
Goalkeeper Gary Rogers has been voted player of the month for March by the St Patrick's Athletic Supporters Club receiving over 40% of the votes cast.
Having kept five clean-sheets in six league games Gary has been doing his bit to keep the Saints at the top of the table but he is quick to deflect praise “it's a team effort, it's not just down to the back four or five, there's a far higher work rate this year throughout the team from front to back and Pete and John must take a lot of credit for that”.
Rogers is due to be presented with his award after the league game against Drogheda on Friday night in Mcdowells.
“I'm delighted to receive this award and would like to thank the fans for their support, compared with our start to last season it's been a big turnaround and hopefully we can continue the form we've been showing”, he added.
