Pete Mahon's men travel to Sligo Rovers on Tuesday night to take on an in form Sligo side that have scored 17 goals in their last three home games.
This will be the fourth clash between the two sides this season and the Bit O' Red will be eager to redress their recent results against the Dublin side.
Derek Pender damaged his knee against Drogheda United on Saturday night and is set to miss out.
Captain Damian Lynch returned to action on Saturday following a hamstring injury but Brian Cash is out with a thigh strain.
No players are suspended for the cup match.
“Obviously Sligo are the form team of the moment, they're playing at home and they'll be fully motivated having lost to us in recent matches.
We're heading into our 23rd game of the season, we're nursing a few injuries and we know we'll be up against it.
However this is a quarter final of a cup, it's all to play for and we'll be going there to give it everything we can” – Pete Mahon.
