TEAM NEWS: ST PATRICK’S ATHLETIC V UCD

St Patrick's Athletic take on UCD at Richmond Park on Friday night (kick off 7.45pm) hoping to bounce back from Monday night's narrow defeat to Shamrock Rovers.

TEAM NEWS

Neill Harney was back training with the team this week following an ankle injury while Garett Coughlan remains on the long-term injury list.

St Patrick's Athletic have no suspensions for this game.

MANAGERS' QUOTE

“We were very disappointed to lose on Monday night, their first goal looked offside and we were unlucky not to get the draw right at the end which I felt we deserved.

However, we've put it behind us, we've trained hard this week, we know we're still a good side and will just have to keep working harder than ever.

We've been down this road once or twice already this season where we have had to show character and bounce back from a disappointing result.

UCD have been a refreshing side to watch this season. They have plenty of youth and exuberance and show teams no fear.

They have pace throughout their team, are well coached and play the ball with confidence so we will have to work extra hard to close them down.

We have taken 22 points from our home games this season and we will want to keep that record going.

UCD have lost two in a row so like ourselves, they will be looking to bounce back tomorrow night which will make for quite a contest”- Assistant manager, John Gill.
