PENDER VOTED PATS PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Saints' defender Derek Pender was recently voted player of the month for September by members of the St Patrick's Athletic Supporters' Club.
The Saints have one of the best defensive records in the league this season and 25 year Pender has become a regular in the back four having joined from Bray Wanderers at the start of the season.
Derek was presented with his award at Richmond Park on Saturday by long-time Saints supporter Geoff Woodhead.
St Patrick's Athletic's next match is against one of Pender's former clubs Shamrock Rovers when the sides meet in the Ford FAI Cup semi-final on Sunday.
The game kicks off at 3.15 at the Tallaght Stadium.
