DEATH OF PADDY 'GINGER' O'ROURKE

It is with great sadness that St Patrick's Athletic announce the death of Saints' legend and Hall of Fame member Paddy 'Ginger' O'Rourke.

Ginger won two league championships and two FAI Cups with the Saints and was a member of the full Ireland squad as well as winning 'B' and Junior international caps.

After his playing days ended he maintained his connection to the club as a supporter and attended Richmond Park regularly.

The club would like to extend our deepest sympathies to Paddy's family and friends at this time.

Removal this Wed evening to St Joseph's Church, Greencastle Road, Coolock and funeral mass tomorrow (Thur 20th) at 10.30am.
