St Patrick's Athletic departed Dublin this afternoon for Thursday's Europa League Second Round Qualifying match against FC Shakhter Karagandy of Kazakhstan.

Danny North and Dave Mulcahy remained in Dublin to continue treatment on hamstring and calf injuries respectively.

On a positive note, Conor Kenna traveled with the squad.

The team left Dublin at approximately 3.50 pm for London where they will connect for a flight to Kazakhstan's largest city Almaty.

The travelling party will then have another flight to the nation's capital Astana, arriving at 3.30 pm local time tomorrow.

The Saints will base themselves in Astana before traveling to Karaganda for Thursday's game which kicks off at 7 pm local time (2 pm Irish).

Pete Mahon will be hoping his side can achieve a positive result to keep the tie alive before departing Kazakhstan for the trip home via Abu Dhabi.
