Saints Ready For Cup Semi

Saints manager, Pete Mahon, has some injury concerns ahead of this evening's Leinster Senior Cup semi-final match against Killester United at Hadden Park.

Danny North (ribs), Shane McFaul (ankle), Ian Daly (back) and David McMillan (hamstring) are unavailable due to injury while centre-halves Shane Guthrie (cup-tied) and Evan McMillan (exams) will also miss out.

Pete will be fielding his strongest available eleven as he looks to guide the Saints to another cup final, having brought the Saints to the Setanta Cup Final last season.

“We have quite a few players missing tonight, so it is an opportunity for players who haven't played recently to stake a claim for a starting place in the final games of the season.”

“I have seen Killester on a few occasions and they are decent side who could cause us a few problems.”

“They are a top junior club and with home advantage we will have to be at our best if we want to reach the final.”
