Sligo Win Title

St Pat's were unable to prevent Sligo Rovers winning the league title in an enthralling game today.

The Saints came from two goals down to draw level on the hour mark thanks to goals from Christy Fagan and Chris Forrester.

It looked like the away side would go on and win the game, but the woodwork denied Sean O'Connor and Anto Flood on two occasions.

With the game heading for a draw, Sligo were awarded a last minute penalty which former Saint, Mark Quigley, dispatched to the delight of the home crowd.
