St Patrick's Athletic manager John McDonnell has today completed his pre-season signings with the capture of Paul Keegan from Longford Town.
Keegan, who had a previous spell with St Patrick's, is McDonnell's second significant signing within a week.
The addition of Trevor Molloy and Paul Keegan to the squad within recent days, brings to 7 the number of signings McDonnell has made in the current close and pre season period. The other additions are Mark Rutherford (from Shamrock Rovers), Lee Roche (Glentoran), Anthony Murphy (UCD), David Mulcahy (Waterford Utd) and Mark Quigley (Shamrock Rovers).
McDonnell has also announced that Keith Dunne is leaving the club and is to return to the United States. The club wishes Keith and his family every success for the future.
All of St Patrick's new signings will be introduced to the media at a
special press conference next Tuesday in the Lucan Spa Hotel. McDonnell has also strengthened his back room staff with the addition of Maurice O'Driscoll (formerly St Patrick's and Bohemians) and Mick Byrne (formerly Shamrock Rovers).
The Club has pre season friendlies against Dundalk, Finn Harps and Kildare County in the coming weeks followed by a 5 day intensive
training programme in the South of Spain.
