The Saints' reigning U19 champions will be looking to go one step closer to defending their title on Saturday night as they face Limerick in the Market Fields stadium in the Semi-Finals of the U19 Champions Knockout Elite Phase (kick-off 6.30pm).
Following their 2-0 win over Dundalk on Wednesday night thanks to goals from Willo McAdams and an own goal, the Saints face a quick turnaround with a trip to face Limerick on Saturday evening.
Meeting Limerick in the semi-finals away from home is not a new experience for the Saints after last year's 3-0 win, goals from Paul Bracken, Stephen Ball and a Paudie O'Connor own goal enough to see the 'Junior Saints' through to the final where they defeated Derry City.
Limerick recorded 7 wins and 5 defeats to reach the knockout stages, while in last week's quarter-finals, the Shannonsiders eventually came through an epic against Sligo Rovers.
With the sides level 4-4 after 90 minutes, the score remained tied after extra-time at 5-5.
Limerick however proved to be clinical from the spot as they held their nerve in clinical fashion to win on penalties 5-4.
With over 10 of the squad from last year's side, including players such as Paul Rooney, Darragh Markey, Jack Bayly and Rory Feely who have all featured in competitive action for the Saints first team, the Saints will be hoping to reach the competition's final against either Cork City or UCD.
