RICHMOND HOME TO "THE BOYS IN GREEN" TONIGHT

THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND Under 17 squad take to the Richmond Park pitch tonight in their quest for three more points and that one automatic qualifying place for The European Championship Finals.

Sean McCaffrey’s side recorded a resounding 4-0 win over their Romanian counterparts on Monday night in Dalymount Park and will be looking for another win against a strong and formidable Israel side.

The Israelis opened their campaign with a 2-1 win over Serbia & Montenegro.

Spurs striker Terry Dixon returns to the Irish squad after being declared fit to play, giving McCaffrey more options to choose from. Cillian Sheridan and Harry Arter both introduced as substitutes on Monday impressed so much that they too could be challenging for a starting role.

St Patrick’s Athletic welcomes both teams to Richmond Park and we hope to see you there, tickets available at the ground.
