Garvan And Brennan Re-Sign With Pat's

St Patrick's Athletic are pleased to announce the re-signings of midfielders Killian Brennan and Owen Garvan ahead of the 2018 SSE Airtricity League season.

The two midfielders put pen to paper today after defender Simon Madden joined the Saints earlier in the day.

Brennan (33) has re-signed with Pat's after an impressive spell last season having rejoined the club from Drogheda United, and will now team up with younger brother Ryan in the Saints' squad. Brennan, whose honours at St Pat's includes a league title, FAI Cup, President's Cup, two EA Sports Cups and a SWAI Player of the Year award has made 121 apperances and scored 21 goals over the course of four seasons.

Former Ipswich Town man Garvan (29) re-signs having joined the club at the same time as Brennan in June and will be looking to continue his good form which he displayed last season.

Speaking to stpatsfc.com about the additions to his squad for next season, Pat's manager Liam Buckley believes the signings will help his side push on from last year's league position of eighth.

"Including Simon Madden earlier today, we're delighted to have secured the three lads' signatures for 2018 as they each will add great quality and depth to our squad. Re-signing Killian and Owen is great news for us as they both have such great ability on the ball and will add great quality to our midfield. They're two players the fans in particular will be delighted to see back in Richmond Park come the start of the league in February.

"Owen was particularly unlucky when he began with us as he missed a few games through suspension and one or two through a nasty injury so having him fully fit at the start of the season will be great. With both of the lads in there with the other players we've signed to date, we'll be pushing to finish as high as we can next season."
