EA Sports Cup Second Round

St Patrick's Athletic host Dundalk on Monday afternoon as the sides meet in the EA Sports Cup Second Round in Richmond Park (kick-off 3pm).

The game pits the winners of the last four years of the competition against each other with Dundalk having won the competition last year and in 2014, while the Saints lifted the EA Sports Cup in both 2015 and 2016.

In team news, St Pat's manager Liam Buckley has no injury worries but will assess his squad closer to kick-off following last Friday's 2-1 league defeat against Derry City.

"The EA Sports Cup has been a good competition for us over the past few years so we will be looking to try and have another good run this year. A few of the players involved in our wins in 2015 and 2016 are still at the club so they know what it takes to go far in the competition.

"We are facing a very good Dundalk side on Monday who are on a good run of results lately. They showed their quality in Inchicore a few weeks ago when we drew 0-0 so we are expecting another really tough game. We know that we need to be at our best, and off the back of a good performance in Derry, we feel we can get a result and hopefully progress to the next round."

Kick-off in Richmond Park is at 3pm on Monday.

Tickets for the game, which can be purchased online are priced:
