Result: Wexford 0 - Saints 3

St Pat's won their first pre-season game 3-0 against Wexford at Carlow IT.

It was the first game for our new manager Harry Kenny and he used the opportunity to give some minutes to 20 players including three tialists.

It was a good test for the Saints who are in the early stages of their pre-season schedule.

In cold and windy conditions Brian O'Sullivan's side were out to impress their new manager and had a number of chances in the first half but didn't trouble Barry Murphy.

At half-time Harry Kenny made eight changes and it was Gary Shaw who opened the scoring 18 minutes into the second half.

The Saints finished the game strongly with two late goals, one from a trialist and the other from Mikey Drennan.
