Melvin-Lambert Returns On Loan

St Patrick's Athletic are delighted to confirm the signing Nahum Melvin-Lambert until the end of the season.

The striker returns to Richmond Park on loan from Reading.

The 18-year-old was with us on loan up until the summer break, and scored once in his five appearances.

Head Coach Stephen O'Donnell said:

"I'm delighted to get Nahum in on loan until the end of the year. He did very well for us in the opening half of the season, his first time in senior football. He's a young player with lots of attributes and we are looking forward to having him for the rest of the season."

Melvin-Lambert is looking forward to getting going:

"I'm looking forward to returning to St Pat's until the end of the season. I enjoyed my time at the club before the break, we've got a great group of players & staff & the team has been in great form, hopefully I can help the team continue to do well for the rest of the season."

Nahum is a product of the Reading Academy, he joined them aged 14.

He made his first team debut in a 3-1 Carabao Cup win over Colchester United in September of last year.

The Englishman also played in the following round of the league cup and in the FA Cup in January of this year in a 1-0 defeat to Luton Town.

Nahum scored 12 goals last season in the Reading Academy and has been a regular in the U18s and U23s for the last number of years as well as his involvements with the first team.
