Result: Derry 1 - Saints 0

A superb Danny Mullen goal in the second half was enough for Derry City to secure a deserved 1-0 win over fellow title contenders St Patrick's Athletic.

The striker netted his fourth goal of the season to help Tiernan Lynch's men secure back-to-back wins over Shelbourne and Stephen Kenny's side, and the six points move City into third place, just a point behind leaders Drogheda United.

Adam O'Reilly was the man of the match, and his tireless running and discipline summed up Derry's fantastic performance.
