First Team Departures
St Patrick's Athletic can confirm the departures of a number of First Team players.
Brandon Kavanagh has joined Drogheda United for an undisclosed fee while Conor Carty has signed for Waterford FC, also for an undisclosed fee.
Meanwhile, Axel Sjoberg, Ryan McLaughlin, Al-Amin Kazeem, Jordon Garrick, Anto Dodd and Darren Robinson have all also left the club.
Kavanagh joined The Saints ahead of the 2024 season and made 82 appearances, scoring 13 times, while 2023 FAI Cup winner Carty ends his second spell with St Patrick's Athletic having scored five times in 29 appearances in 2025.
Sjoberg joined The Saints ahead of the 2023 season and was part of our FAI Cup winning squad that year, the Swedish defender made 71 appearances for the club.
McLaughlin arrived in Inchicore in July 2023 and played 53 times for St Pat's, he was also part of our 2023 FAI Cup winning squad and scored a famous goal away at Besiktas last season.
Kazeem spent 18 months at Richmond Park, having joined in July 2024 and made 38 appearances, his only goal was a dramatic late winner against Shelbourne in 2024.
Garrick played 12 times for the club having joined in July 2025, his only goal was in our FAI Cup Quarter-Final win at home to Galway United.
Robinson signed on loan from Derby County in the 2025 summer window and made 11 appearances.
While Dodd, who progressed through the St Patrick's Athletic Academy having joined our U15s in January 2020, made four senior appearances for the club.
