Ryan Edmondson signed for The Saints from Central Coast Mariners in January 2026. The 24-year-old striker arrives in Inchicore after two seasons and a treble in Australia.

Edmondson began his career at York City, making his senior debut at 15 before joining Leeds United and playing in the Championship as a 16-year-old against QPR in May 2018.

He had loan spells at Aberdeen, Northampton Town, Fleetwood Town and Port Vale before joining Carlisle United on a two-year contract in June 2022.

Ryan won promotion from EFL League 2 via the play-offs at Wembley Stadium twice, with Port Vale in 2022 and Carlisle United in 2023.

Edmondson's two years in Australia saw him win the A League Championship (23/24), scoring two goals in the final, A League Premiership (23/24) and AFC Cup (2024) with Central Coast Mariners
