The 27-year-old arrives at Richmond Park on a long-term contract having spent the last two-and-a-half seasons in the Scottish Premiership with Ross County and Kilmarnock.

One of Brown's highlights during his time in the SPL was scoring on his Ross County debut away to Celtic at Park Head.

The former Shelbourne defender moved to Blackburn Rovers from Drogheda United in January 2022 and made his Championship debut away to Birmingham City that May, before loan spells at Stockport County and Doncaster Rovers.

Brown was named in the League of Ireland PFAI Premier Division Team of the Season in 2021, he made over 100 League of Ireland appearances during his previous spell at home and won the First Division in 2020 with Drogheda.
